Terms & FAQ
My Designs
As an experienced designer with over 30 models sold, I make printable 3D sex toy models that stand out from the thousands of others on the indie market. They fulfill fantasies; they work well in use, with knots designed to lock and curves designed for G-spot stimulation; and they're crafted with efficiency in mind, minimizing material needed and reducing costly flaws like air bubbles.
A one-time purchase of the commercial rights to a unique and beautiful model can pull in a new audience, bring back returning customers, and save you from the headaches caused by flops, all while providing years worth of value. If one of my models can bring in many times its value within a single year—before even considering the long term—that investment more than pays for itself.

Requirements
Any shops making soft toys must use platinum cure silicone; use a vacuum chamber to degas their silicone; and use mold release if working with silicone molds. I will work with shops that have not yet opened as long as they plan to do all three of those, but I will not work with shops that do not yet own a vacuum chamber. I may limit the amount of sales to unopened shops.
Shops that do not use 3D printers may also purchase production rights to my designs. We can discuss expectations, such as replicating the model with a clay positive or using the model as a template for glass toys.
I will not sculpt non-fantasy animal toys and will not work with shops that carry a large amount of such models. I may decline to work with shops who knowingly use generative AI for their marketing, logo, site materials, product descriptions, or other areas related to the business. I reserve the right to decline service for any other legal reason at my discretion.
Terms
My full terms are listed in my Form of Agreement. A copy of this must be signed before an invoice is issued and will be effective upon payment of invoice. The form may be edited in advance of signing. The form may be signed using a pseudonym/username as long as it is a valid personal identifier. This FAQ page is for convenience only; the Form of Agreement supersedes anything on this page. I may alternately agree to a form/document presented by the maker instead.
Summary:
Maker has the perpetual exclusive right to make and sell physical products of a design (IP 1.1; IP 1.2)
I retain copyright and the right to display the work as my own (IP 2)
This applies to commissions as well, but the agreement may be edited if the maker commissions a model based on a completed design concept
I am to be credited as 3DFrost in either product pages or product listings (6; Proposal)
Transferring the design to another maker means transferring the contract and would first need my approval, unless the business itself is being transferred (12.3)
I am owed 1 silicone copy which is to be made to my specifications and shipped within 90 days of the maker making the product available for sale (P 1; Proposal)
Any commission cancellations will only be partially refunded (11.3)
Minimal edits and scaling are permitted, but anything functionally changing the design, or derivative works beyond what is outlined within the proposal, require approval (IP 1.1; Proposal)
I will provide minor edits for up to 60 days for production purposes and may make larger edits on commission (Proposal)
Render/Mock-up Permissions
Any renders or color mock-ups that I create may be displayed in place of products on shop sites only until physical products are created. For continued use of these assets in advertising, for use of my lineart, or for use of these assets as printed items (such as stickers or prints), please get in touch to discuss fees and terms.
Individuals are permitted to reshare/repost my rendered images for non-marketing purposes as long as those images include my logo and are not misrepresented as someone else's work.
Do not use my images or models for AI training, AI databases, or AI generation.
Payment
Payment
I request payment upfront for the agreed upon amount, paid by invoice, with any toy copies owed to be shipped to me after the model is in production. Payment plans may be discussed, but approval will depend on the maker and model. Prices may be negotiable.Â
Payment is due within 30 days of invoicing. Extensions may be considered. If payment is not made within the expected timeframe, the invoice may be cancelled. If the buyer still wishes to purchase after cancellation, I may, at my discretion, refuse to reinvoice, or reinvoice with an additional 10% convenience fee.
If your shop prefers to pay royalties, we may discuss how to approach this. If your shop sells over 10,000 items per year or makes over $1 million USD in yearly revenue, I may request royalties, payable at least quarterly, with the percentage and advance to be discussed.
I do not charge a fee to hold/reserve a design before invoicing. Most reservations will be limited to one month. I may approve or decline to reserve a design at my discretion based on the maker and the design.
Publicly posted sketches/WIPs may be prepurchased.
Purchases by Individuals
I generally license models of my own design directly to makers. However, I may also accept design and/or sculpt commissions from non-maker-affiliated individuals. I ask that a maker already be on board so I can confirm that the final result will be of appropriate quality to represent my work.
Individuals may sponsor existing designs by purchasing a design on behalf of a maker. The sponsor would need to cover the design fee (paid to me), the cost of my desired copy as determined by the shop (paid to the maker), and the cost of their own copy/copies and/or production fees as determined by the maker (paid to the maker). The maker may waive or lower their own fees. The sponsor does not need to cover 100% of the design fee if the maker is able to cover it. Payment would only be processed once details are sorted out with the shop and all payments are agreed upon.
The sponsor may coordinate beforehand with a maker, or may reach out to me so that I can find a maker to work with.
Commission Process
I can work with various levels of artistic freedom. This can be anything from "here's a 2D design with all the details laid out from multiple angles" to "I want a fantasy knotted dildo." Payment is required upfront after a quote for the model is determined. Expected time to complete sculpting is up to 90 days. In addition to the upfront cost, I ask for one custom copy of the final silicone product.
For all models, I check in as needed to get input on details, proportions, and overall design. Multiple edits and changes can be made along the way.
I'm happy to work with both new and established shops, but will limit the amount of models/commissions sold to unopened shops.
Commission Price
The below are examples of detail levels and the corresponding prices for a custom design of similar detail. Quotes and final prices may vary and can be negotiated, but in most cases, they are expected to match the below prices regardless of the amount of design work required.
Low detail dildo: $500
Either the shaft or base has low detail, while the remaining details are not particularly complex. Includes items with small/plain bases like plugs.
Moderate detail dildo: $600
Most dildos fall into this category.
High detail dildo: $800
"Almost definitely needs a resin printer" levels of detail.
Penetrables: $500
Grinders: $500

Collabs & Requests
If you have a drawn design or a detailed text concept, I may be willing to sculpt it without requiring a fee upfront. I can also collaborate on existing sculpt files to add or improve details. In all cases, if the design is picked up, I will charge the purchasing party my fee, including the requirement for a personal copy. We can discuss what fees/marketing would look like in advance.

Ripoffs & Design Theft
Unfortunately, in this industry, there are some companies that steal designs, selling exact copies or ripoffs. These shops are unethical at best and, in some cases, are hostile towards creators or use dangerous/toxic materials. I ask that consumers not buy ripoffs of my designs or others' designs for both ethical reasons and your own health.
Refer to my Sold page for approved manufacturers of my models. Most sell exclusively through their own storefront or a marketplace like Etsy, though some may additionally sell products through a third-party retailer. When in doubt, check with the producer.
At this time, I am not aware of any unsold models being reproduced by unauthorized manufacturers.
Thanks
I want to give a huge shout-out to the collaborative fantasy toy community and all those who have supported me. I wouldn't be here without all the support and info that's out there, including resources like the OnlyGoblins wiki, info shared by designers and makers, feedback from reviewers and collectors, and the community as a whole.
Thank you to Whitefox Designs for creating the 3DFrost logo!
